December D'Lights Winter Festival

Thank you to everyone that participated and supported the 2009 December D’Lites!

It was a great success with over 400 people attending. A great time was had by all while visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, listening to Cowboy Poetry, along with creating Christmas cards and ornaments.

The highlight of the event of course for the kids was the“Dive for Dollars.”

We also included a recipe contest sponsored by “The Star” and a Business Scavenger Hunt.

The event then ended on a great note with Mayor Holmes lighting the Christmas wreath and lights on Main Street.

Next it was off to the parade where Santa and many of his helpers traveled thru town waving and tossing out candy.
